Wet evening in Helsinki
Once we hosted a couple of ladies from Finland for a few weeks, and we became firm friends. We were invited to visit. We fell in love with the country and the people. When I took the reference photos of this scene I knew I wanted to paint it one day. I loved the way the light danced in the cobbles in the wet. It was a moment when I felt truly alive.
