Live music in the Sorefingers Bar
This painting was created from reference pictures I took at the Easter 2024 Sorefingers camp. I was struck by the energy in the room when live music was playing; even the bunting in the bar seemed to dance. I’ve kept the style for this work very loose. The figures are not supposed to be portraits, and when I created these works, I made sure I listened to appropriate music while painting them. First of a set of three.
