Bourne Mill – Colchester
Growing up in Colchester I had friends who lived in Newtown, and we used to walk around the area frequently, sometimes after hours. Bourne mill, by the mill pond there, always struck me as rather beautiful and out of place, like a wise old uncle who was keeping an eye on the wayward youths drinking on park benches!
